Karen & Co / Sassafras is located at the central crossroads of downtown Madison near the corner of Johnson Street and State Street at 307 State Street.

We are within easy walking distance of Monona Terrace, the State Capitol and all the downtown Hotels. The University of Wisconsin-Madison is just a half mile to the west at the other end of State Street.

There are many shops, restaurants, and places to stay around the downtown area.

There are many parking lots within walking distance. All of the city parking lots are only $2 after 6pm. You can find more information on parking at the City of Madison's Website
