Timeless and modern women's clothing for all ages in the heart of Madison. Just down State Street from the State Capitol. Karen & Co. and Sassafras have trancended regionalism providing classic women's clothing to generations of customers.

Sassafras opened in September 1970, with Karen & Co following in 1978 in a different building just down the street. In 1990 the two stores were combined into one in an extensive restoration of two classic state street storefronts into one.
